The Art of Thermomix Pulled Pork: A Mouthwatering Delight!

Are you a fan of juicy Mexican meat? Look no further than Pulled Pork, also known as Pork Carnitas! This versatile dish is perfect for creating mouthwatering pulled pork burgers, burritos, nachos, and even sandwich fillings. And today, we’re going to show you how to make the most tender and flavorful Pulled Pork using your trusty Thermomix!

Imagine the aroma of slow-cooked meat wafting through your kitchen, filling the air with anticipation. With the Thermomix Varoma, you can achieve those melt-in-your-mouth results without the long cooking times of a slow cooker. The Varoma gently steams the meat, infusing it with moisture and tenderness. It’s like having a personal BBQ master in your kitchen!

Now, let’s dive into the world of Pulled Pork and unlock the secrets to creating a TexMex masterpiece. Picture this: a trip to the “Barbecue States of America” and the vibrant streets of Mexico, where flavors collide and culinary inspiration awaits. After experimenting with various recipes on our charcoal offset BBQ, we discovered the joy of smoky, tender meats. But the time and effort required were a real challenge.

That’s when the idea for my second Thermomix cookbook, “A TexMex Fiesta,” was born. I wanted to capture the authentic flavors of Texas Barbecue and Mexican cuisine without the lengthy cooking process. Within these pages, you’ll find 32 mouthwatering recipes that pair perfectly with our Pulled Pork creation.

But before we delve into the cookbook, let’s tantalize your taste buds with a preview of one of our most popular recipes: pork carnitas, or as we affectionately call it, pulled pork. If you enjoy this dish, you’ll surely be enticed by the other culinary delights in my book. Visit our shop page to explore the full recipe index.

Substitute Ingredients for Pork Carnitas

To create the ultimate flavor experience, we recommend using Mexican oregano if available. Its unique aroma and softer texture elevate the taste profile of the dish. If Mexican oregano is not on hand, regular oregano can be used as a substitute by doubling the quantity.

For those who own the Thermomix Basic Cookbook, the Vegetable Stock Paste can be used as an alternative to liquid stock. Simply combine 4 teaspoons of stock paste with 500ml of water to replace the 500ml of liquid stock required in the recipe.

Unleash the Versatility of Pulled Pork

Once you’ve mastered the art of Pulled Pork, the possibilities are endless. Use it as a filling for burritos or tacos, or create a mouthwatering brioche burger topped with a flavorful slaw. Leftovers? Don’t worry, they make for a delightful twist on your everyday sandwich meats.
