How to Make Roasted Pork Leg


  • 1 pork leg
  • 6 cloves of garlic
  • 1 medium onion
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup of wine or cider
  • Almonds and prunes
  • 2 tablespoons of lard
  • Pineapple juice
  • Pineapple rings and cherries
  • Brown sugar

  1. In a blender, combine the garlic, chopped onion, salt, pepper, and 1 cup of wine or cider. Blend until you have a smooth paste. Set aside.

  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 3 hours. After this time, carefully open the bag to avoid steam burns. Add pineapple rings and cherries, and sprinkle brown sugar over the meat. Return it to the oven and continue cooking for another 30 minutes, basting the meat with its own juices until it becomes golden brown.
